Eyes that stare at me,
To all those with quandary,
Increase the pressure of the words that beat my dignity down.
- Thunder Clap.
_______
To all those with quandary,
And all those with none,
There's certain steps of regimen,
However unconventional.
If you have a virus,
That you want to release;
Tell it to the bigger cats,
For they help it cease.
If a friend did nearly stab you,
And anger clouds your mind;
Don't throw out your reason,
Remember you're not dead, this time.
If you are a cat amid cats,
And you try to be a lion;
Do not meow in front of them,
But do not roar either.
Also, while trying to be a lion,
If you take out a bird or two,
Don't tell your kitty friends;
"He who killed the birds - was you."
But, always think it through,
What can this mask produce?
For if a lion plants a seed,
The cat inside must bear that weed.
So for the conclusion;
Just eradicate this obsession,
It's only your illusion,
Which established this aggression.
Alternate cats aren't so vainglorious,
To just assume such obsess.
Perhaps you should re-adress,
Rather than trying to impress.

Update from Lucy: I talked to Miss Sharples about deviantART today and we agreed that it might be a good idea to sign up.
I was thinking of either creating a group or a profile. A profile would be more accessible, but we can submit pieces ourselves with a group. I'm still not sure so I'd like to hear some suggestions/discussions.
However, I've just checked username availability and the following are already taken: planet125, Planet125. But; planet-125 and Planet-125 were not taken. So if we make it, it'll have to be one of them.
But I'd like to hear about usability opinions before we just go ahead and create a profile. How many of us are going to use it as frequently as a blog? I just thought the upside of a dA profile/group is that since everyone will have their own folder, you'll be able to submit longer pieces and even chapters periodically.
I leave the creation, if they want to do it, to those who already use deviantART. Because I'm not in Creative Writing next Wednesday. You guys know what to do!
Anyway, I'd just like to hear any comments, ideas or suggestions in the comments. Because at the moment it's just an idea. ^^

Prompt: You wish you hadn't said what you just said.
I had a habit of blurting things out without thinking them through. More often than not, it got me into quite a bit more trouble than it was worth; trouble from which even my way with words tended not to save me. Judging now from the look upon Alyssia's face, a combination of deathly sorrow and seething disgust at what I'd just said about her elder brother Michael, this was one of those moments.
I'd have had a bit more tact if I'd known Michael had been killed.
Almost of their own accord, I felt my reactions spread across my face one after the other; a wide-eyed stare of horrified realisation, the parting of my mouth in a vain attempt to muster an answer, then a pained grimace of disappointment in myself for having said such a vile thing.
